The industrial holding "KERAMAX" received a certificate from the National Welding Control Agency in December 2023 for the certification of MR-3 brand welding electrodes. Now, the new products from the "KERAMAX" brand can be used without restrictions by the largest industrial enterprises in the Russian Federation.
It is worth noting that one of the company's most significant achievements in 2023 was the launch of the "KERAMAX-ELECTRA" project, dedicated to the establishment of its own production of welding electrodes.
The new line was created at the Chelyabinsk facility of JSC "KERAMAX" and began operations in November 2023. The production volume is set at 1,500 tons of welding electrodes annually. The line was purchased from a domestic company, one of the largest Russian suppliers of equipment for the production of welding materials.
"The new line is designed for the production of coated electrodes for welding, cutting, and surfacing. The finished products undergo mandatory visual and measurement control, as well as welding-technology tests with subsequent surfacing to determine the physical and mechanical properties of the deposited metal," noted Murat Baydimirov, General Director of LLC "KERAMAX-ENGINEERING."
The establishment of the electrode line is the first stage in the development of the "KERAMAX-ELECTRA" project. The company plans to expand the range of products produced by the new line in the near future.
This approach will help meet the growing demand from Russian enterprises for welding electrodes.
Additionally, the certificate from NAKS for the certification of MR-3 brand welding electrodes is valid for three years.
