On a 3.7-hectare site in the special economic zone in Verkhnyaya Salda, the company plans to build a modern factory with an area of 4,700 square meters.
The enterprise will produce premium-quality welding and metallurgy products, which are currently in demand in the construction and metallurgy industries in Russia, as well as in several CIS countries.
The total investment amounts to over 400 million rubles. More than 69 new jobs will be created for specialized professionals from the Sverdlovsk region and neighboring regions of the Urals.
"The launch of the new modern production facility 'KERAMAX-ELECTRA' will allow the company to significantly expand its presence in the domestic welding market and will also enable us to explore new markets for fasteners in the future," commented Artem Komarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "KERAMAX."
The starting point for the construction of the new facility was the ceremonial laying of the first stone of the future factory, which took place on May 31, 2024.
Participants in the event included Artem Andreevich Komarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "KERAMAX," Andrey Valentinovich Trofimov, General Director of JSC "KERAMAX," and Alexey Vyacheslavovich Artemyev, General Director of LLC "KERAMAX ELECTRA." The opening was also attended by Dmitry Alexandrovich Ionin, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Alexander Viktorovich Maslov, Head of the Verkhnyaya Salda Urban District, and Andrey Ivanovich Antipov, General Director of the Titanium Valley SEZ.
During the ceremonial event, a stone adorned with a commemorative plaque was installed on the future factory's site, inscribed with: "Opening of the construction site of LLC KERAMAX-ELECTRA on Welder's Day, May 31, 2024."
The Titanium Valley special economic zone in Verkhnyaya Salda already has all the conditions for the rapid launch of the enterprise—engineering networks have been created, and logistical infrastructure is in place for new residents. A wide range of tax benefits and customs preferences allows for business operations with maximum profitability.
"The construction and organization of yet another production facility at the Titanium Valley is further confirmation of the demand for the special economic zone, created at the initiative of Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev. The products of KERAMAX-ELECTRA will be in demand in the construction and metallurgy industries not only in Russia but also in neighboring countries," said Dmitry Ionin, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.
The production launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
