Description
UF-02 is a multipurpose flux with excellent welding and technological characteristics. It is designed for performing single and multi-pass welds on products with any wall thickness. It can be used in combination with both solid and flux-cored wires. It is suitable for welding most categories of unalloyed and low-alloy steels.

The deposited metal contains less than 5 ml of hydrogen per 100 g of metal. It combines good plastic properties of the deposited metal with excellent welding and technological properties. It is suitable for single and dual arc welding, as well as for split arc welding and dual arc welding with split arcs for butt, lap, and corner joints. It performs equally well on both direct and alternating current. The good slag detachability makes it an excellent flux for multi-pass welding of thick-walled products. The slight flakiness of the deposited metal allows for high-speed welding with very good impact toughness values.

UF-02 can be used for welding structural steels resistant to atmospheric corrosion, for example, in the construction of bridges and pressure vessels, as it can be used with various steels, including those used for structures operating in low-temperature conditions.
