Description
UF-02 is a multipurpose flux with superior weldability and operational characteristics. It is intended for making single and multi-pass welds on products with any wall thickness. It can be used in combination with both solid and flux cored wires. It is suitable for welding most categories of unalloyed and low alloyed steels.

The weld metal contains less than 5 ml of hydrogen per 100 g of metal. This flux combines good plastic properties of the weld metal with excellent weldability and operational characteristics.  It is suitable for single- and double-arc welding, split-arc welding and double-arc welding by means of split-arc butt, lap and fillet welds. It operates equally well on DC and AC. Good slag separability makes it an excellent flux for multi-pass welding of thick-walled products. Slight flaking of the weld metal allows welding at high speeds and with very good impact strength values.

UF-02 can be used to weld structural steels that are resistant to atmospheric corrosion, for example, in the construction of bridges, pressure vessels, since it can be used with a variety of steels, including steels for the manufacture of structures operating in low temperatures.
