Description
UF-03 is an agglomerated acidic flux. It is designed for welding with a limited number of passes, with thicknesses of approximately up to 25 mm. It is applicable for single and dual arc welding, as well as for split arc welding. The significant alloying of the deposited metal with silicon makes UF-03 suitable for high-speed welding.

UF-03 is used in the production of pressure vessels and spiral-welded water pipes.

Excellent weld shape and welding-technological characteristics are achieved not only due to the special formulation but also because of the low basicity index of the flux, which reduces the impact toughness of the deposited metal at negative temperatures, resulting in limitations on the operating conditions of products welded with its use.

The high welding speed, excellent slag detachability, and outstanding appearance of the welds make UF-03 indispensable for welding butt and corner joints.
