Description
UF-01 is designed for welding particularly critical products made from structural carbon, low-alloy, alloyed, heat-resistant, and high-strength steels, where the requirements for impact toughness at low temperatures are especially high (down to -60°C).

It is suitable for multi-pass welding of thick materials and is applicable for both single and multi-arc welding of butt and corner joints, performing equally well on both direct and alternating current.

Due to its good slag detachability and excellent edge wetting, UF-01 is ideally suited for welding in narrow groove preparations. Welding with this flux is recommended to be performed at the lower range of voltages. The resulting deposited metal has a low oxygen content of approximately 300 ppm, and the hydrogen content is less than 5 ml per 100 g of metal
