Description
UF-01 is intended for welding critical items made of structural carbon, low-alloy, alloy, heat-resistant and high-strength steels, where the requirements for impact toughness at negative temperatures are especially high (down to -60 °C).

It is suitable for multi-pass welding of thick materials, applicable for single and multi-arc welding of butt and fillet welds, while it operates equally well on both DC and AC.

Due to its good slag separation and good edge wettability, UF-01 is best suited for narrow gap welding. Welding with this flux is recommended to be performed at the lower voltage range. The resulting weld metal has a low oxygen content of about 300 ppm and a hydrogen content lower than 5 ml per 100 g of metal.
